“Petros’ War” at Iranian bookstores

TEHRAN – Greek writer Alki Zei’s 1971 novel “Petros’ War” has recently been published in Persian by Sureh-Mehr Publications in Tehran.

Translated by Majid Amiq, the book is about a ten-year-old boy, Petros, and his family’s life and their problems and miseries in occupied Athens during World War II.

The book has been translated into several languages including English, French, Italian, Spanish, Danish, Russian and Turkish.
